Gov. Youngkin Breaks Ground on I-64 GAP Segment A Widening Design-Build Project

We are pleased to announce that the Virginia Department of Transportation recently awarded Shirley Contracting Company, LLC the I-64 GAP Segment A Widening design-build project. Here’s an article on the recent groundbreaking ceremony held and information about this very important project.

It is the first of 3-phases. Segment A will widen the corridor from four to six lanes, alleviating congestion on the interstate from Hampton Roads to Richmond.
