DC UNITED TRAINING FACILITY

In October of 2019, Loudoun County awarded Shirley Contracting Company LLC, a contract for all site work for the future DC United Training Facility in Leesburg, Virginia. Shirley constructed site improvements necessary for the future athletic facility that will include a 40,000 square foot training center on a 30-acre complex, which will feature four full-size outdoor practice fi elds, an elite training center equipped with a weight room and recovery facilities for the club’s performance and medical staff , and associated parking lots.

The 21.5-acre site package included 163,812 CY of excavation and rough grading, a 2,530 SF segmental block retaining wall, geogrid reinforced soil slopes, 1,774 LF of storm sewer, and a 2,736 LF sanitary sewer line.
